The Long Wait: Making NYC More Handicap-Accessible
Taking a spontaneous trip from Williamsburg to Union Square? As Jason DaSilva’s new mini-documentary shows, It usually takes 13 minutes by public transit, but if you’re in a wheelchair, over an hour and a half!
Check out the ending, where he takes a new handicap-accessible taxi back to Brooklyn. The point is clear: we need to make New York City’s Taxi of Tomorrow truly accessible to all.
I definitely suggest watching this — it’s five minutes well spent.
