In addition to being downright brutal, it’s the perfect excuse to make yourself a cold drink, sit in front of the air conditioner, and tune out while tuning in to your favorite song of the summer. Don’t have one yet? Take our quiz or try out a few of the Flavorpill staff’s favorites. Don’t forget to share your favorites in the comments!

‘In a Funny Way’ by Mercury Rev -Jane McCarthy
‘Weekend in Brooklyn’ or ‘Bermuda,’ both by Kisses. -Danielle Brock

It’s getting warmer out, so pretty soon Bedbugocalypse 2011 will be upon us. But it looks like the critters are getting a head start on this balmy day on the corner of Front Street and Pearl Street in Brooklyn, where we found this whimsical sculpture. Normally one bed bug wouldn’t be so daunting, but the prospect of one giant bedbug just got us thinking that it could be infested with hundreds of little bed bugs and we quickly ran away. Check it out at your own risk!
