Darwin Deez Studies Abroad
New Yorker Darwin Deez, a musician who makes quirky, catchy indie pop, will be the cool new thing a few months from now. Below is the first of a series of posts by him we’ll be sharing with you; read it and secure your bragging rights for when he blows up. After a 4 and 1/2 month absence, Darwin Deez has returned to New York City. The band was studying abroad.
Our teachers were five magical/polite school boys from Newcastle.
Greg learned advanced venue sanitation practices

We took a communications course from the BBC.
Cole completed his ethnological research in London, learning the customs and culture of the natives.
Andrew took a modeling class from some graffiti in Belgium.
We are holding a seminar to pass on this valuable and timeless wisdom to the United States. To be schooled, please attend the Mercury Lounge (217 E. Houston St.) on Wednesday evening, November 17th.
